Trusting the Comeback

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as
the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be
afraid.

At times you may find yourself wrestling with emotional instability, brokenness, and challenging circumstances that can pin you down with anger, insecurities, and anxiety that robs inner peace.  In those times when it feels like all hell is breaking loose, it is when you release control, be still, place trust in God and watch the blessings flow.

In James 1:2-4: Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

James is not telling us to be happy in adversity, he tells us to “count (consider) it joy”. You may not be able to control circumstances, but you can control your thought about the circumstances.  When bad things happen you can say, this is the worst day ever and have a pity party or you can say, this is a bad situation, but I will get through this. He is the God of restoration—As you stay in peace, love, trust, and obedience, you will receive double for your trouble.

PRAY through it!!!
